All That Beats
Hip hop is the soundtrack to my day, whether I'm on the school run or writing up the latest releases, so I've put together a playlist I thought others might enjoy.

Podcasts
If you're like me you take your sneaker news any way you can. In no particular order, here are my top five.
The Complex Sneaker Podcast
You can’t go wrong with this one. If it’s just Matt Welty, Joe La Puma and Brendan Dunne, it’s great; if there’s a high-profile guest on, even better. They cover what’s on foot, their latest purchases, the latest releases and if a guest is on, ask highly detailed, well researched questions that make each episode a worthwhile listen.
The Sneaker Podcast
These guys have been podding since 2016, and each episode is a joy to listen to. Each specialty presenter brings something new to the table. Sean Collard with his Jordan knowledge, especially the Jordan 2, Chris Chiu – sneaker photography, Mike D with a deep knowledge of all things Three Stripes and Kalby’s all about Kith.
True to Size
True to Size, another Canadian sneaker pod, are over 200 episodes and counting. Each one in the back catalogue worth a listen. They cover the latest releases, their latest purchases, the latest news in the sneaker world, and throw in an ‘NSR’ (Not Sneaker Related) section for good measure.
Sneaker History
The VERY first sneaker podcast I listened to. Nick Engvall is the man. He’s lived, eaten and breathed sneakers his whole life. He not only has a passion for them, but those that love them. He works hard to bring a great podcast to your ears, he runs a discord that is very much worth joining, and helps people out where he can… including allowing me to write my very first sneaker articles for sneakerhistory.com
The Sneaker Update
Part of the Sneakerjagers brand, the podcast (playable on Spotify) is a short listen most weeks, with eps varying from 10 to 40 minutes depending on the week’s releases. Mats Bosma (@matsbosma) and Tom Romer (@tommy_triggah) talk about what’s taken their interest, what’s releasing that week, and upcoming releases they’re looking forward to.
